Welcome to Crayons & Cookies

Crayons and Cookies is a Los Angeles-based performing arts and arts education company. Our mission is to bring joy, light, and wonder to everyday life for everyday people. We believe that everyone, regardless of demographic, can find common ground in a shared vision of love and unity through creativity. We are passionate artists who value playfulness, imagination, and innovation. As educators, we offer masterclasses and are commissionable as Resident Artists in the styles of tap, modern, composition, improvisation, and conditioning. Within that same structure, we are available to offer collaborations to produce interdisciplinary projects. We cater primarily to the college-aged Student, which can include prospective college-bound juniors and seniors in high school, as well as senior adults who simply love learning.

Within the focus of crayons and cookies, our core function is performance-based entertainment, which encompasses the interdisciplinary artistry of music, dance, organic puppetry, and storytelling. We cater to art enthusiasts who are particularly interested in concert performances and value experiential, playful, and interactive shows. In our multidisciplinary repertoire, we aim to include something for everyone, providing wholesome entertainment, family style.

Our company is directed by Kyreeana Breelin Alexander, an interdisciplinary artist with a unique specialization in music, songwriting, choreography, dance, writing, and digital media. She received her training from California Institute of the Arts (BFA), UCLA (MFA), and Berklee College of Music (MA). Our company was founded on the principles of honesty, discipline, creativity, and joy. We offer an all-inclusive experience merging art forms in a way that is stylistically unique to our founder's vision of creative expression, layered with messages of hope. Through timeless artistic endeavors, performances, and arts education, our aim is to ignite minds and inspire creativity and joy, providing art for all.
